The easy Jet flight from Prague was at 9 pm and we arrived at airport sometime after six. Our first time on Easy Jet . Only one checked in luggage but they were strict on handcarry luggage. No knapsack or even  cabin trolley if you have a handbag. I had to stuff my handbag into my knapsack.   As I grow older , I do a little bit more reading of fine print , so we were prepared but we some passengers caught by this and having to stuff their extra bag into the check in luggae. We arrived in Paris at 11.05 pm. The flight was smooth punctual and the luggages was out quite fast.

Then the trouble started, we were trying to locate the shuttle bus to Premiere Class Roissy hotel. Checked with the reception and was told to walk until you reach the SNCF train station terminal and take the lift. Sometimes when you are travelling in a group, all it takes is someone to plant doubt. Everyone was walking towards the SNCF signs until Choi Yen planted doubt. She questioned about the right direction and I wavered. With that waver, she decided to go out and started asking people in her smattering French. In the end , we took this shuttle which actually took us on this 45 minute ride around CDG airport. We did end at the hotel terminal shuttle which was the end of the circuit. It turned  out that the driver decided to take us on this ride because the hotel shuttle would have  been quite a wait anyway.

We reached the hotel shuttle terminal where a bunch of sorry looking passengers were waiting. It was apparent that they had waited long too because the kids were impatient, some were about to give up and another Korean girl was there , too apparently waiting for a Premiere Class Roissy chain as well and that's when I find out that there is actually two hotels from the new chain.

We were blessed because the bus came 5 minutes later and I asked the bus conductor twice and showed him the address just to make sure that we were on the right bus. We were and the two Premiere Class Roissy hotels were just less than 5 minutes away from each other ( why does two hotels belonging to the same company is so near each other beats me). It was destined that we would go in circle that night and our hotel was the last of the shuttle circuit We were tired as it was way past midnight and all we wanted was a hot shower and a soft bed and so even though we could see our hotel , we had to wait for the bus to do its round.

Finally, we arrived and as we were taking our bags,  I heard a slap and crying. I turned and I see this man all in rage and a young boy crying. Then the mother tries to stop the father from hitting the son. What drama in the middle of the night. i just want to check in.

We finally do. the hotel is comfortable enough - for 50euros per room - it is a bargain. I take my shower quickly and am in bed. Was quite hungry and tried to buy food but I didnt have small change in euro's. I asked the reception and is greeted with a nonchalant no.

Next morning ( things always look better the next morning after a good nights rest and hot shower, the reception is manned by a nice looking lady and  after breakfast, we took the shuttle back (you only pay 5euro for both ways)  to CDG ...
