My map basically says it all, but the plan is to head out to Auckland, NZ, on the 23rd of November. I'll take a day or so to get over the jet lag before heading north. I'll begin with Great Barrier Island, North Island, working my way down to Wellington and over to Christchurch, with plenty of stop overs in between of course! The plan from there is to head up the west coast via Doubtful Sound...Fox Glacier etc before catching a plane over to OZ. If all goes well, a few relaxing weeks will be spent on Tasmania before making my way up the east coast to the Great Barrier Reef, and back down to Melbourne via Ayres Rock.
To be honest, I'm pretty excited!!, I've plenty of sea kayaking planned for the trip, along with whatever comes up along the way..maybe some bungee jumps....and how about a gliding tour?! The world is my brand new oyster:)
Oh!, I must of course introduce my new travel partner, as you can see from the pic attached. His name is Harris, and although pretty small and fragile, he seems well up to the challenge. He'll keep me company along the way, through the sunsets, and the paddles, and the white sands and hot sunny days....jealous?:)
I'll make sure I keep you all up to date with everything thats going on, and obvioulsy a steady stream of photos too
