We had to wait about 30 mins for the mini bus we pre-arranged. That mini bus was with us for the next 3 days. First day, touring around Pagan, Second day, to proceed to Mount Poppa and on Third day, to send us to Inle Lake. The whole package cost us Kyat 280K. We checked in to the hotel which cost Kyat 40K per room per night.

After breakfast, Zaw Min Tun, the driver drove us around Pagan. We found lots of guides at every Pagoda. They explained the history of Pagoda even though you didn't askt to.
I paid 1K to my guide. I don't know how much my wife gave to her small guide.
It was quite hot in Pagan and we felt it on our feet as we left our foot ware on bus.
I still have a small desert spike in my foot and it was so painful.
The Lunch was satisfying but a bit salty to my tongue. Lunch in Pagan cost about 2k each.

We went out again ,after taking a rest in hotel room avoiding noon sun, at 4:30pm. Again to some other famous Pagodas. I found all the guides, all of them are children, spoke in same assent. I don't know if it is Pagan assent. I saw some children sitting under tree beside a Pagoda, attracting tourists. We took photos with them and paid them some cash. I named them "Pagan models".

We had to rush to " Thet Byin Nyu" to watch sun set. Many tourists, young and old, were climbing up the steep steps to catch the sun set and to take photos.
After watching sun set, Zaw Min Tun took us to a Pagoda where he said, an ancient worrior was captured on some phopographs taken recently. The worrior was said to be taking care of the Pagoda.
The photos were displayed and the worrior can be seen wearing ancient costume quite clearly.
But of course I don't believe it !

Tomorrow, We will be heading to Mount Poppa.
Follow me to Poppa!
I'll tell you interesting stories with photos.

First one.
So, am I the first one to post comments? What do you want me to say? Not bad? Good? Amazing? You've got all. Anyway, your photos brought me some remembrances. It's good to take photos as much as we can when we visit a place. With the help of digital technology, taking a photo becomes a piece of cake. I like your photos reflecting the siutuation of Burma. However rundown the condition is, this is our country. T.I.B ( This Is Burma. )

It's hard to walk away from a winning streak, even harder to leave the table when you're on a losing one.
