Today I took the train from London to University of Manchester to visit a few colleagues to discuss the future of sign bilingualism. The future of sign bilingualism in deaf education will be an interesting one. The city of Manchester has gone through a major makeover and it is quite a pleasant place to visit. The University of Manchester is quite a large place - takes up most of Oxford Street (one of the main streets in Manchester).

Howdy
Hi Loan,
Have now managed to get in and have a look. Oh wow - wish I was there too. Glad all is going well. I expect the weather is the same here - we had snow Sat a fornight ago - and the same week we had a day that was 27! Hope you get time to see Andrew and Carolyn - have let them know you may turn up looking for a free drink. Kids and Simon say hi. Heaps of love and stay safe - Catherine
Re: Howdy
Hi there Cat,
Great hearing from you. I have been in touch with Andrew and the poor guy has been very busy with work (I'm sure he loves every minute of it). Hopefully we will be able to meet up next Monday night for drinks.
Please give my love to the boys (all three of them).
Leonie xxxx
