After breakfast, we decided to walk along Patong beach the other direction and discover some new places like we did the other day. So we headed south this time, walked all the way along the beach as far as we could, passing the thousands of sun lounges set up but still empty, past all the longtail boats waiting to take tourists for a ride. And up the hill, and up, and up, and up! The view from the top was spectacular, looking back towards Patong. Pretty hot and sweaty by this time, but we kept going down and up the next hil, then down another one to reach Tri Trang Beach Resort. Stopped at a little cafe there for a rest and cold drink, then walked all the way back, up the hills, down the huge one, and then all the way back along Beach Rd to reach our hotel. All up nearly 10km I think!
Needless to say after all that activity we chilled out by the pool, had a nap and watched a movie in the afternoon. Ate dinner at Linda Seafood.
