We finished DC touring and left around 1:00PM. Our ultimate destination today was Charleston, North Carolina, but we had to hit up this supposedly amazing road stand bbq joint. So we took a 2 hour excursion through the vast nothingness that is Virginia to secluded Charlottesville where Jinx's Pit Top BBQ is located. 3 Things went wrong.

A- they close at 3PM and we arrived at 3:10PM.
B- they aren't open on Monday's to begin with.
C- they were sold out until next Saturday.
What a kick in the nuts.

Luckily, we had another planned stop in Charlottesville, I know, who the hell travels to Charlottesville for 1 place, let alone 2. The White Spot was supposed to just be our dessert location, but ended up having to serve as our main meal as well. We had normal lunch options; A Gus Burger for Evan (cheeseburger with a fried egg on top), and a Rueben for myself. The dessert was called "grills with," 2 glazed donuts grilled where all the meats are cooked and served warm with a scoop of vanilla. Sounded better than it was. Orginal fresh Krispy Kreme's are better. 450 Miles to Charleston.
ROAD NOTES: GPS devices are awesome.
