We left 72 Euston at 10:45AM, August 17, 2008. We arrived at our first destination at 10:50AM, August 17th, 2008, the Dunkin Donuts on Cambridge St. We left Dunkin 10 minutes later already feeling disgusting. 2 hours of driving took us to New Haven to drop off Kira, Joel's dog (who Evan claims is actually his), and to officially weigh in.

Evan's official start weight: 160.5 lbs. (includes t-shirt and shorts)
Joel's official start weight: 185 lbs. (inlcudes very thick jeans, large belt, hair gel, possible child, unclipped nails, and an extremely heavy polo shirt)

DC is our destination, with some stops on the way. Approx 450 miles.

Alright, so assuming that you are actually going to drive through the heart of the south as well as plan to hit the essential hotspots of world cuisine:

1. You WILL drive through H-town, TX.
2. You WILL thrive on the world's best burger (Buffalo Burger made of real Buffalo... yeah the protected one) at Bubba's Texas Burger Shack. Don't know which one of you is gonna be driving but I suggest a cold Dr. Pepper to help move the Buffalo as it progresses from the mouth... throat... and finally stomach. Personally I also highly recommend a shot of Zubrowka (Polish Bison vodka) but that's just the genes talkin.

Address:
5230 Westpark Dr
Houston, TX
(Ummm, yeah remember that it's under a highway and really does look like a shack)
For directions call 713-661-1622, http://www.hottowncoolcity.org/view/site/detail/169/

I will require a ten-page report on the juicy voluptuousness of the Buffalo focusing on texture, spice, size, taste, and of course the undescribable feeling that lingers for days afterwards. Needless to say, personal photos including both of you beasted after your meal in front of the shack are obligatory (while sporting Houston Rockets caps).

Should you fail to visit Bubba's you will have:
1. Not been in the true south (home of Lil' Flip, Bun B, Chamillionaire aka. Mixtape Messiah aka chamilitary mang)
2. Not tasted a piece of protected heaven.

Enjoy the trip and I will be expecting that report (photos) in both a hard copy and email.

Buffalo Burger at the shack and then Buffalo wings
oh, and one more thought... aside from being beasted by the king of the grasslands (the Buffalo Burger)I highly suggest you drop into 59 Diners in H-Town for Buffalo wings that will top any in the country! They have an original taste... original in a good way.
