We got to London today around 1 in the after noon and
checked into our hotel, which happened to be a Holiday Inn. Our tour guide took us to Covent
Garden, which isn't exactly a garden, but has a lot of shops and street
entertainers. I was able to buy a
scarf and hat there and see a guy singing opera on the street who I thought was
very good (the street entertainers have to audition to be I the Covent Gardens
area). After the Gardens we went
to the theater and saw a production of "Wicked" which is the Wizard of Oz story
told from the side of the Wicked Witch of the West. The play was awesome, great singing and storyline. The play was over around 10:30 so we
went on the tube and went to a pub close by to our hotel because some of our
fellow Americans were teaching an English bartender to lay beer pong, and he
liked it. My friends and I had one
drink and then headed back to the hotel, my first drink from a real bar!

Wicked was playing here (at school) last month, apparently it was pretty good.

I had one glass of wine, but two nights ago I had about two and a half glasses of wine!
