I have nothing to do today, so I figured that I would start my travel blog... It'll get more exotic than Chicago, but for now it's all I've got. Hopefully by tomorrow I'll have posted some entries on this month's trip to Istanbul.

Being back in Chicago for such a long period of time is a bit strange. This is the longest trip home since leaving for school in NYC in 2004. I guess that's pretty typical. My parents have already settled into the old high school routine (minus the curfews and hidden bottles of alcohol) which just adds to the blast from the past effect of being in Chicago.

I'll create a real entry tomorrow once I master the innerworkings of this site, and more importantly coax- i.e. bribe- my friends to visit my page and leave me some feedback.
