Today was a crazy day!!! I got up at 4am to get to the airport for my flight from Cairns to Adelaide. However one of my connecting flights to Melbourne had been changed to Sydney, meaning I arrived later at Adelaide. My first flight was 2hrs down to Brisbane, then from Brisbane I had about an hour and a half till I arrived in Sydney, where I had about 2 and a half hours to kill in the airport. As well as having that inconvenience of a changed flight, we experience strong gusty winds, which meant that the plane had to take a slightly longer route to avoid the worst of it, however there was quite a bit of turbulence, which i hated. So it was a long tiring day, so i got to the hostel and was glad to settle down and watch tv for a while. After chilling out I decided to make the most of my short time in Adelaide by heading to the central market. It is pretty cool having this massive indoor market complex, where there were so many people, there was a lot of atmosphere and with all the fruit stalls and souvenir shops it reminded me of the atmosphere, buzz and banter of a bootsale or indoor bootsale back in England, there was a nostalgic feel about this place. I went back to the hostel for free Apple pie and cream, legendary, i went back about 5 times for more!! lol. I watched some more tv and then got to bed early ready for the Great Ocean Road Tommorow.
