On Wednesday, we arrived at Foxboro, Massachusetts, just outside of Boston.  The RV Park was huge!!  A nice one I would definitely recommend.  We had originally planned on staying there three or four nights but since they were already booked for the weekend, we only ended up staying there two nights.  We, also, got there late in the day because we had stopped at Gloucester.  Rick & Flo got a lot of information about going into Boston so we planned on heading out the next morning.

On Thursday, September 23, instead of driving into town we drove to the train station and took the train into Boston.  We got off the train at Boston Commons which is right in the center of town.  We had a choice of walking the Freedom trail, taking a guided tour of the Freedom trail or take a trolley around town, which included a cruise of Boston Harbor.

When we had completed our tour, we got off the trolley and went to Cheers, the bar from the TV Show of the same name.  We got souvenirs, a mug with the Cheers logo and T-shirts.  Coincidentally, Kaptain got the same shirt as Larry (and also Rick we found out later) and Shirley and I got the same T-shirt.  All of this was by coincidence and not planned.  Too funny.

The next day, we had to leave the Normandy Farms Campground because they were booked for the weekend.  We headed for Cape Cod about 120 miles away.
