Apple Island Resort

We stayed at the Apple Island Resort on Grand Isle. Because the Resort is on an Island, we had to take a ferry to get from New York to Vermont. We got to Apple Island Resort on Tuesday, September 14th. Gorgeous RV Park. A little more expensive than most but worth the cost.

When we got to the RV Park, we just kind of hung out and let the guys (the drivers) have a rest.

On Wednesday, September 15th, we went to Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream, Lake Champlain Chocolates, saw a covered bridge, visited the Apple Cider Mill and watched them make apple cider. Then we headed to Burlington and had lunch (late lunch, early dinner) at a restaurant overlooking Lake Champlain.

We left Apple Island Resort on Thursday, September 16th and headed for Maine, stopping in Dixfield, Maine, for one night before arriving at Bar Harbor, Maine.
