It's something I've heard about and wanted to see most of my life.   And all I can say is WOW...no all I can say is, "there are no words to describe the experience."  It was awesome, fantastic, fabulous, fill in the blank.  We all loved it.

We got there, stared at it, took pictures of it, felt it (the spray), everything we could.  Then we hopped on the Maid of the Mist, the boat that takes you right up to it.  That was even better seeing it from the water level, looking up at it.  If you are ever in the area, do whatever you can to get up to see it.  We went on the Canadian side because, well....that's the best.  So, yes, we had to go all the way into another country, Passports and all.  (Fortunately, we remembered to bring them on this trip).  That means we went through customs twice in one day (Canada and then US).  It was only about 1-1/2 hours from Rick & Flo's house so we were back in the US by about 1:00 in the afternoon.

Our next stop was in Buffalo, New York, at the Anchor Bar.  In case you didn't know, that is where the Buffalo Wings were created.  So, we had, of course, Buffalo wings.  We ordered the Medium spiced ones and they were absolutely the best wings I have ever tasted.  Some of the other people with us ordered the Mild and I don't think those were as good as the Medium. The Medium had just enough heat to make it a good spicy flavor but not too hot.  We had the local beer, Genesse.  (Locals call it "Jenny's")  The beer was great with the Wings.

Took our pictures, inside and outside of the Anchor Bar and off to "home" again.

Side comment:  As of getting to Rick & Flo's, we have traveled 3,357 miles in the Motor home.  That doesn't include the day trips we have taken in our car and in other people's cars.
