Thank heavens  there a free internet terminal here in Frankfurt airport or I wouldnot be able to update you.  I arrived in Frankfurt after a 9 hour trip via Munich from Ljubljana. Wish I could say the last few hours of my stay in Slovenia were wonderful but I got a combination of food poisoning and effects from Malaria pills all at the same time and dragged myself after a day of not keeping anything done, to a hospital by walking, and then getting a ride from a good samaritanat 5 45 a.m.. I was booked on the train from Ljubljana at 10 a.m. and had to make that train to get my connection today.  I can verify that the streets of Ljubljana are safe at that time of the morning, and unbelievable well lit up with street lights.  It is a quiet city.  I got to the right hospital, after walking to a childrenīs one first, as I was just going by the red crosses on my city map as there were no hostel staff around to help me, not a good thing! and something I was not aware of, that there was no one there during the night... but anyway after giving them my passport and waiting with my headache (effects of dehydration) for about an hour with quite a few other people, i got seene and immediately put on a drip and sometehing to stop me vomiting, and he took blood tests and a xray. Aside from being anemic a little, iīm ok but h#doctor suspected more food poisoning which I kind of expected as deli food can sometimes be sitting a long time, and has given me pause about eating at them anymore. I had gone to 2 movies, back to back, one in Latvian, one called Ciste with Maggie Cheung and Nick Nolte earlier on Friday night and ate some deli food in between.  There were 3 Chilean girls in my dorm room, who were coincidentally on the  city walking tour I took in the a.m.  Anyway iīm still not 100 per cent but feel a lot better than I did dand I am booked not on my flight to Bangkok, about 9 hours flying with a hole lot of other people.  Everything is so efficient in Frankfurt - from the time i stepped off the train last night until I was in my hotel room (actaully a good hostel) it was 14 minutes!  Thatīs how close the hostel is to the train station, a nd that is walking!  And I had stayed there beforeit was seamless to check in. I ate breakfast today there, a nice breakfast as I had not eaten anything for 2 days - well I tried to but it didnīt work....  then trains to airport everx 15 mins, a 11 m inute trip rigiht into the airport! biggest line up was a Thai Airways checkin.  Anway thatīs it from Europe, iīm actually looking forward to a change of culture and everxone says I will really enjoThailand..
