Mossman gorge, silky oaks, daintree river
Jun 06, 2012
Bus trip to Mossman gorge to walk with the natives through the rain forest. We were shown what trees did what and their purposes like the weapon tree. We then had tea, cake and watched a didgeridoo in action. We went on to a fancy restaurant along the river where I had barramundi and it tasted awesome! We took a tour down the Daintree river where we spotted crocs, king fishers, wild pigs, tree frogs and tree snakes. I tried fruit at a local farm where bananas were growing along with random fruit I have never heard of including jack fruit. We took a tour of the local sugar cane factory with a final tour of port Douglas again.
