Just a quick update as not done a lot since last update as we have been focussing our efforts on house hunting, realising if we get in quick we will get the best deals as summer will be here soon and byron will be full of backpackers looking for somewhere to live!

Anyway, Byron Bay is fantastic. We have all fallen in love with it! The beach is just beautiful, the town full of unique shops (no chain stores here except 1 supermarket) and full of quirky alleys and there is a huge cafe culture! The residential estates look just like the neighbours set! Its very relaxed and chilled out - full of hippies and surfers. Plenty of surf shops here for Wyn to look for a job. He's printing off some CVs now so were off to job hunt a bit now.

Anyway I'll update you when we have more news! Hope everyone at home is ok. I'll upload a few piccies later as dont have my camera now x

It sounds as though it's perfect for meeting your expectations. Hope the cv's bear fruit for Wyn. A surf shop would be ideal. As you say you have arrived well ahead of the summer influx of backpackers.enjoying your blog and always switch on first thing in the morning incase there is a new entry.
