It's 1 week to go and we have left Cardiff after 7 years of fantastic memories. Moving out was a bit of a mission due to very tight time constraints so a big thank you to Abbie who we couldn't have done it without! Reaching our destination was yet a bigger mission as we had to get to both Monmouth and Llanberris in the same evening eventually arriving at Wyn's dads house at 1AM! However there was no time to stop and catch breath as we had to be in Anglesey that day and Wetherby for a wedding the day after!

A big congratulations to Lindsey and Sal who celebrated their Civil Partnership on the 29th! It was a beautiful day and the Lord of the Rings theme was great fun! Extremely impressed at some peoples fancy dress efforts - espeicallly the tree and the guy who knitted his own chain mail out of aluminium rings! My own elf ears were perhaps less successful - it turns out I have 1 ear smaller than the other! (But so does Andrew so perhaps its genetic?!)

Congratulations also goes out to my Grandad who celebrated his 80th with a meal on sunday (Sunderland being the next leg of my mammoth UK tour!)  It was great to get all the family together which came as a surprise for my Grandad who was not aware that extended family such as his neices and nephews he had not seen for many years would be there! It was also fantastic to spend time with my cousins children who are adorable and growing up so fast! Its a shame to think they will have changed so much by the time we're back from oz!

So all in all my manic 5 day tour was great fun and a fantastic opportunity to say my goodbyes to both sides of my family! So now for a rest before flying to oz right...?! Well not quite! I have 3 days to finish off the last minute jobs then its off on another roadtrip to Bristol and then Somerset for the much anticipated wedding of Amy and Gav! I'll be arriving back in Monmouth sunday afternoon and leaving that evening. Well atleast there's no doubting I'll be sleeping on the flight out! Wyn is now back in North Wales with family for this next week and we wont be meeting up again until we fly! Can't believe it is all coming round so quickly!
