Today we traveled from Tennessee back to the Carolina's on the way we stopped off at the Mingus Mill on the Great Smokey Mountain National Park.

We met the miller and spent about half an hour talking to him, a really fascinating guy, in his 80's who is a retired vet.  He was fascinated by our journey, and all that we planned to see.  One of the highlights of the day for sure.  A big Nascar fan who had slipped under the catch fencing when the Daytona races were held on the beach.  He talked about all the old drivers and the old racing - what a character.  We were truly honored to listen too him.

We then moved onto the BMW Factory in Spartanburg - where all BMW X3, X5 and X6's are manufactured for the world.  I have never experienced anything like it, the factory and processes were amazing, every small attention to detail was taken into account.  Unfortunately you cannot take pictures in the plant itself, but attached are some of the pictures from the Museum (the only BMW Museum outside Germany).

It was an amazing day, hope you enjoy the pictures.

Lots of Love
