Today we spent the day in Charlotte, North Carolina.  Started the day at the newly opened Nascar Hall of Fame.  The Hall opened to the public on May 11th of this year, so it was amazing to be some of the first people to ever visit.  Such halls exist for other US Sports, but this is the only one in the US dedicated completely to Motorsport.

We spent about 3 hours in the Hall of Fame, then moved onto the Speed Street, which had a number of stalls for the various Nascar Sponsors, finally we returned back to the Hall of Fame to watch some live interviews.

Tonight we join up with the Nascar Tour to collect tickets for the weekend,  Tomorrow we head to the Charlotte Motor Speedway for the first of two days at the circuit.  Temperatures have been really high today, 90 degree's as we write this a thunder storm is traveling over Charlotte.
