Hi,

Yesterday Caroline and I spent the day in Atlanta, lucky the weather was a pleasant 72 degree's.
We traveled on the Marta (subway) from the Airport to Peachtree, Peachtree is a district in the centre of Atlanta with lots of Social and Business spaces.

We walked to Olympic Centennial Park, and from there spent a couple of hours in the World of Coca Cola

, which concluded in Taste It, with over 60 different Coke drinks to try.  Some were absolutely rank!  However, the UK drink was Bitter Lemon, Caroline enjoyed the Delaware Punch which was a drink from Honduras.

We then wandered around Peachtree and visited Underground Atlanta

Which is a shopping and leisure area built as the name suggests underground, bit like Covent Garden.

Our general impression of Atlanta was a quiet city - like Oklahoma, although there are thousands of cars in car parks there seems to be little on the roads.  Architecture similar to Vancouver Gas Town and parts of San Francisco.

We then travelled back to the Airport and back to the Hotel, still a little Jet Lagged,   Some pictures form yesterday.  Today we are off to the Atlanta Aquarium which is one of the biggest in the US
