Arrived in Arezzo around 3pm, found the information center and arranged a B&B for 70 Euro for the night. (about 30 meters from the info center). Took to the streets for the sights not knowing what was in store. There seemed to be a parade taking place and eventually found out that a jousting event was being held that night in the Grand Doumo. To our surprise we got some tickets for 47 euro each in the grandstand.

What a night! the Jousting was fantastic and the atmosphere electric, I have some great pictures to upload and a video once I get home. there was a little tension between the 4 teams & some biff a few also got ejected during the event by their own team.

It was a little difficult to determine who was winning by the scoring system but the teams & crowd soon let us know after each round. Mandy's team won with two perfect scores by the 3rd round. My team had a chance to win but only scored a 2 in the 3rd round.
