We hit Le Chat Noir...an average Italian place with reasonable prices that had been recommended by Jonathan. We probably should have stayed at the BBQ place. Ah well.
On the drive back to the hotel we find some people stopped looking at a lemur hanging on a chain banister along the sidewalk. I let the girls out to take a picture. Amazing!
The next morning, I'm up a little early and go out to have breakfast...it's monkey morning! We had been told that often monkeys hop the fence from the preserve and play around on the hotel grounds. I get the girls out of bed to come and watch the monkeys. They're capuchin monkeys and there are about 7 of them. Several of the monkeys chase each other and wrestle in the trees. Some come down for banana that Jonathan tosses them. They're a LOT of fun to watch.
We get packed up and head for the airport. It's about a 2.5 hr drive we're told. It's a beautiful day and the road winds along the ocean before turning inland.
Soon we're returning the rental car, heading to the airport and flying back through Mexico City.
An amazing trip ends at LAX at almost midnight. We say goodbye ...and start thinking about our next trip....India maybe?
