After very little sleep, we showered and went down for some breakfast, this included cereal, orange juice, bagels, toast, cream cheese, jams and oranges.

We started off the day by going for a walk along the Lake, Chicago is just such a beautiful place, a city on the water, just stunning.

We then set off the a baseball game which started at 1:20pm, at Wrigley Stadium, the Cubs were playing Houston Astos. This was a real American experience, man do these folk like to eat!!!!! Food at the game consisted of deep pan pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos with disgusting cheese sauce, popcorn, huge bags of monkey nuts, candy floss, and of course soft drinks and beers!!!! The game itself wasn't that exciting but Lili and I absolutely loved watching the people, they even sing war cries to their coach, the funniest was when the YMCA song came on and the entire stadium started doing the actions, this had us in stitches. Lisa star player was Derek Lee, and the amount of zoomed in pictures that were taken was incredible, another interesting name was a player called FUKUDOME.

We left the stadium at 4pm - still no end result and headed to the Navy Pier, which is basically a posh Brighton. Fun fairs, loads of restaurants and boat cruises, we enjoyed a beer in the beer garden listening to some live music. We then decided to walk home along the Lake path, absolutely beautiful, skyscrapers on the one side and yachts on the other.

We then made some yummy pasta at the hostel and went to watch the fireworks.

A very full action packed day!!!

It has been absolutely boiling here, very humid so when they said it was 32 today, it felt more like 52!!!!
