Today we travel back to Tsitsikama National Forest to the Bloukrans Bridge so the boys can plunge into the treetops! Marcus took the journey out to the jump platform- Ian and I stayed on solid ground.

We then began our drive toward the South African Winelands. I thought I would blog during the drive but as it turned out, I had a front row seat to the best IMAX movie I have ever seen... and it was REAL! After seeing monkeys on the roadway and beauty at every turn, we plunged into the small towns and vast rolling sheep and ostrich farms. These farms extend as far as you can see, and in Africa, it is FAR! The farmer supplies his workers with housing and this was something to see. Still substandard, the families live a wholesome, good life. In contrast, the towns we had been visiting were flanked by the shanty towns where the working poor live in precariously built shacks but with a sense of community and generosity toward one another. I was hard pressed to pull out the camera while passing the shanty towns but- I did.
