We arrived in Durban and it was dark- at 5:00pm!!!! It is winter here and the days are beautiful and sunny but short! We are staying in a flat above a south african couple's private home on a cliff overlooking the beach. Rad is lucky here- he has his own (very cool) pad in the neighbors house!

Last night we went to the our first World cup game in Durban. We felt very safe with police everywhere and plenty of Germans in the beer tents! See a few of the videos Griffin has made attached! GERMANY 4 AUSTRAILIA 0 Marcus was dressed like a true fan! These people are crazy!!! Today is a beach day.... tomorrow we fly to our safari destination.

The girls are dying to know what Ian thinks of his trip so far. You'll have to have him post something when you have some down time. Tell him that Syd and Maddie say "Hi".
