The following day was not easy to get up (funnily enough) but managed to get our flight to Cancun. There doesnt seem to be all that much to do there except go out at night and sleep all day. On saturday night we went to Cocobongos, the coolest club in the world. For $40 you get entry, a massive live show with people swinging on ropes, going into the crowd and generally producing a full-on Cabaret-esque performance. Then all drinks were included all night. Fantastic. Got back to the hostel at 6am. Great night.

We did very little the next day but on Monday we came to Isla Mujeres which is just beautiful. Its in the Caribean sea so it is lovely and warm, there are palm trees and lots of little mexican restaurants. Yesterday we rented golf carts (very popular mode of transport here) and went around the island. We visited a small Mayan ruin and a turtle farm, which also has a pet nurse shark! The hostel has a cool bar which opens at 11pm which is right on the beach. Im sorry for this blog to be a little boring but we literally have been on the beach, been to restaurants and little else. It is boiling here though, so hot you cant go outside mid afternoon. Not complaining though.

We are heading back to mainland tomorrow to see Chichen Izsa, Tullum and then head down to Belize.  Really looking forward to these ruins though.

Hope everyone at home is well and hopefully will have a little more news next time. love to everyone xxx
