Just to let you know that i have arrived in Kerala safely. I arrived at 6am this morning and it was already 25 degrees! Had a quick guided tour around the market this morning and now off for a sleep.
Will write in more detail soon. We have another day here tomorrow and then off to the project village on Monday by train! I have found out that there is free email on the campus we're staying on.

Dearest Law, I am so glad you arrived safely and things look good so far. I feel terrible that I didn't have a chance to call you before you left, but it was lovely to see you on Tuesday. I am so looking forward to reading you diary as it continues. I hope you fitted everything you needede into your very stylish backpack. I can picture you now strolling around in that heat and amazing new environment with your backpack on and sandals with dirty toes. In fact I will be thinking about you a lot over the next few months. Hi Laura glad to hear you've arrived safely, it was lovely to see you and the rest of the girls on New Years Eve - hope you enjoyed at much as me looks like it from the photos. I'm impressed with the size of your ruck sack, I think I take about that much stuff away for a week let alone thee months.
