Isn't that the coolest name for a drink ever! Cochabambina! Ok so i didnt actually drink any but thought it was worth mentioning :o)
Got to Cochabamba about 12 after a much nicer bus ride! we watched that film with Lindsey lohan and McFly - it was in spanish so I didnt understand much but luckily the plot was hardly complex :o)
I got to the bus station and booked my ticket out for that evening, making sure I got a semi-cama (sleeper) bus. then wandered into town for some food. the lonely planet failed me again, as both restaurants i looked for were closed, so i ended up with a takeaway empanada (bolivian cornish pasty) and then a hot chocolate and huge slice of cake in a posh looking coffee shop :o) like starbucks but nicer and the whole lot cost 70p, so about one tenth of the price!
I went to a museum, and it was possibly the most boring museum in the world, except for one room which had loads of mummies in! All with varying amounts of dried skin and skeleton on show ;o) so that was pretty cool. Other than that it looked just like one of the really old dusty bits of an oxford museum, with bits of a pottery in cases.
Other than that I just wandered around the town, which was actually really pretty, and spent about 4 hours on the internet!
And then back to the bus station for a really naff cheeseburger, and then my nice fancy new bus to Santa Cruz...
xx
