Ok, we've been home for a while now (since 30 June), but we had to finish the travel blog at some time. And that time is now.
We arrived back to our little home and have now moved in, with just about everything sorted. Much gardening is to be done to get the herbs growing properly (or, just not dying), plus a few other things, like jobs, need to be sorted.
On the job front, Laurs has enrolled in a Personal Trainer course and will soon be making people 'feel the burn' and 'take it to the max' in a park/gym/home near you (if you're in Bris, that is). The job that I had sorted before I left the UK, has fallen through because the company has gone under - very annoying, but what can you do. Job hunt, that's what. So that's ongoing, though there aren't a lot of trading houses here in Bris, making the chore a bit tougher. Anyone with any contacts??? Let me know.
Otherwise life is good - we're catching up with friends and family and enjoying the Brissie winter (cloudless, top of early 20's everyday....). Attached are some photos from when we came into our house for the first time on our return to Oz, with Sue and Phil (L's folks).
Hope you've enjoyed the blog, but now we're home, the travels are over.
...for a little while anyway...
