We drove from Sydney to the Blue Mountains which took about 2 hours. For most of the drive it was chucking down with rain which was a bit of a worry as everything in the Blue Mountains is obviously outside! Our first stop was Wentworth Falls, it was still raining when we pulled up into the carpark, we went to the first lookout to see the waterfall and all we could see was cloud! So we stood under a shelter for about 10 minutes and got talking to an older English couple. Once the rain has died down a little we decided to make a break for it and went down to another lookout, as you descended you walked under the cloud so the view became clearer! We only planned to do a short walk, to a lookout and back to the car but the waterfall and the valley were amazing so we decided to walk down to the waterfall. We ended up doing a 6km walk classified as hard known as the National Pass in our flipflops! It was an amazing walk with breath taking scenery. The walk was not too hard apart from the million stairs back to the top, once again Alex took a lovely photo of me looking like I am about to die!

We then headed into Katoomba to Echo Point to see the Three Sisters, but the cloud has once again set in so we couldn't see anything. We had planned on doing free camping tonight but the weather was so poor we decided to stay in a caravan park, which was a good decision as it absolutely chucked it down for about 2 hours in the evening so if we hadnt of stayed there we wouldn't of been able to cook tea! We were also able to watch the Australian Open final in the camp kitchen, it was unfortunate that Murray lost though!

The next morning we got up early to go Echo Point again it was sunny this morning so we knew we would be able to see the Three Sisters. We wanted to get there early as we had to leave the Blue Mountains today and you don't have to pay to park before 9am, don't judge travelling is all about saving money! We went to the lookout and the view was once again amazing, the valley was huge and the Three Sisters stood way above the valley!

We both really enjoyed our day in the Blue Mountains and would of liked to of spent more time here if we weren't so pushed for time, it is a very beautiful naitonal park.
