After a night on the train and all day walking around Trondheim, I thought I would sleep like a baby on the bus....WRONG !!! The road from Trondheim to Bergen might be the most amazing, beautiful, marvelous, breathtaking, fantastic, awesome (need more adjectives) scenery in Norway. Around every corner was another jaw-dropping view...how could I sleep ?
Since we left the Arctic Circle, we no longer have the midnight sun. So, for the first time in over 2 weeks, we saw the night moon. But, not just any normal moon - it was full and bright on the eastern (?) horizon with remnants of sunlight on the western horizon. A sight to behold...I tried and tried to take pictures, but none of them came out...too blurry from a moving bus. Of course by the time we stopped for a break at 2am, there was too much light and the moon was behind a mountain =(
Pictures from a moving bus or with strange lighting aren't always the best and certainly don't do justice to the beauty of Norway =) I've added times to these pic titles...still amazes me the amount of light in the middle of the night....
