Where I stayed
Last Day of Vacation! Never thought I'd put an exclamation point on something like that, but it's definitely time to go home. I'm still open to doing long trips, but not by myself again. In either case it was still a good trip overall.
Today was an excellent day. The sun was shining, birds chirping, all that crap. I wandered the central part of the city and went down to the harbor. Go to touch the Pacific from the other side finally. Pretty sure I never did that in Taiwan when I was there, the only other time I might have. Got yelled at by some little concessions lady for not understanding she wanted exact change. One thing I've noticed is that nearly EVERY shop you go to will always ask for additional rubles so that they can give you back large bills. It's nice, but a bit annoying at first when I didn't know what they were asking for.
Bounced around the GYM here, not nearly as nice as the one in Moscow. I won't be back. Overall though the city is much more cozy then moscow. feels similiar to Seattle or San Fran a bit. Every car though has the drivers side on the right side here, so much so that drive up stalls assume right side. This is when it's supposed to be officially the left, but being so close to Japan, they take what they can cheap.
Found a nice navy shop thing too, where ya can buy formal military wear. Grabbed a couple things I hope will fit. There was some nice stuff in there and if ya wait around a bit you'll see plenty of hot military guys come in. :)
I wandered back at a late evening hour and relaxed in the hotel. Got some packing square since I need to check out around noon tomorrow, even though my flight isnt until 4:30pm. One more taxi trip and 2 planes and I be home.
