We arrived just a little before noon and just got set up when Barb and Dennis arrive.
After they got set up, we took off for a little sightseeing. With direction from Douglas at the campground office, we take off for Flint Ridge, and the "farm that wasn't". "The farm that wasn't" was a World War II look out designed as a farm. We then drove through the beautiful large red woods where we saw the Big Tree and the Corkscrew Tree and so much more. Then, a nice, some what challenging, hike into Fern Canyon. By then we are ready to head back to "camp" for a salmon cookout, and entertainment put on by the camp host.

Hi Girlfriend. Your just having toooo much fun and seeing some of the most beautiful country. Love the northwest and all its green and ocean. Enjoy every minute and keep the blog coming. Sorry I haven't responded before. Had our delightful Benjamin last week and then up to a wedding for Abby's sis last weekend. Getting ready to go back to work Friday. i am jealous! Still plugging away to keep the money going to SS! Have to help all our aged friends!
