Today the Kaspers and us went to Plymouth.  The Dewitt's spent the day with friends.  Our first stop was the Plimoth Plantation.   This is a recreation of a 1627 English Village and everyone there is "in character" so it made a really neat experience.  We also heard how the Pilgrims left from the Netherlands to come to America.  Most people think they left from England.  What was interesting was to relate back to the time that we spent one Thanksgiving attending services in the church where the Pilgrims attended church before they departed for the New World.  There is also a Wampanoag village with Native People. The Wampanoag people dressed and lived different from what we are used to seeing in the west.  It was all very interesting.

Then it was off to the waterfront to see the Mayflower II.  No way would I want to take this cruise.
After lunch, we walked to the First Church of Plymouth.  This is a beautiful simple church the wood work is wonderful.

When we got back to the RVs, we decided to grab some cheese and a couple of bottles of wine and head for the beach to relax and enjoy the sunset (even though it was a cloudy day and we could not see the sun).  It was a really great way to end the day.  We could get use to this life.  Molly had fun on the beach too.
