Today, we arrived in Keenebunk and the Red Apple Campground. One of the best places to stay on the East Coast. The owners are great! Very friendly in every way. They even gave Molly a dog dish and a treat. vThey had lots of recommendations on what to see and where to eat. They even have a deal with a local lobster guy. You order your lobster in the morning, and they steam them and bring them to your site at 5:30 that evening ready to eat. You just prepare your side dishes, melt your butter, and your set for a feast. We did this on Monday evening. It was the best!

September 20th, we went into Kennebunkport, a really neat town on the coast. The weather was great. Drove along the coast and stopped at the George Bush estate and took pictures. Really a beautiful location. [PHOTO_ID_L=george-h-w-bush-home We're almost sure that George came out and got in his boat, because all of a sudden there were two military style boats that came into the harbor. Pertty cool.

Then we headed to the beach for short walk. Kaptain Larry had to check out the Atlantic to see if it was like the Pacific. Guess what? It's not any different. It's salty too! lol. Only difference is that the sun sets on the wrong side of the beach! We all had fun walking on the beach. We found a place to have lunch. Food is always at the top of the list of things to do with this bunch. It was then decided that we would split up and the girls would go shopping while the boys went to an auto museum (go figure). Too bad, none of the guys had cameras as they saw cars that none of them had ever heard of. It was one of the largest privately owned collections. The little towns all have these really neat signs everywhere that list what is down the road.

On the 21st we headed out to Ogunquit. We went to an area that has a mile long walk along the coast. Once you get to the end of the walk, you can then get on a trolley that will take you through the town and back to where you started. It was nice little ride. By then, it was time for lunch. Found a nice place to sit and enjoy more seafood and a great view's. After lunch, we drove to York, Maine where we saw the Nubble lighthouse after I bought the entire stock of t-shirts and sweat shirts of a local souvenir shop. This lighthouse was even better as we could walk to it and get really good pictures. By then, it was getting late and time to head back to the RV so we can get ready to leave in the morning. I really hate to leave here, but we have lots more to see and do. Can't wait for the next adventure.
