We started out the day with breakfast at Cracker Barrel. LeeDelle and Kaptain Larry had never eaten at one.  Let's just say that is how we started out the next 2 days.  It is now one of the Kaptains' favorite places to have breakfast. Then it was off to the Ford Museum.  We found Dearborn much easier to get around than Milwaukee.  Went in to get our tickets and decided we would do the Ford Rouge Factory tour and the museum.
There is also a village and an IMAX theater.  Since you have to take a bus to the factory, we decided to do that first. Wow, what a complex, it is best to just say it is "HUGH".  It took us 2 1/2 hours to go through the factory.  It was really interesting to see the Ford F150 pickup being made. Of course, we couldn't take any pictures inside the factory.

Then it was back to the museum, we thought we would be in there about an hour, you know a few cars and then leave, and then we walked in. OMG the place is unbelievable.  Full size trains, trucks, cars, several pesidential limos from Rosevelt to Regan, a diner, airplanes, bikes, motorcycles, buggies, gas stations, a drive in movie, generators. Kitchens set up as they would have been in 1880, 1940, 1950. Even a room with TV's with programs in black and white running. They even had the Oscar Myer Weener Mobile next to an Oscar Myer hot dog stand.  It was really worth the price to get in.  Needless to say, we were there about 4 hours. If you make it to the Ford, plan on at least two days to also get in the village.

As we were leaving I called my friend Millie and made arrangements for her to come over to the RV that evening.  We had a great time catching up, and made plans to meet the next day.
