SWEETHEART'S DELIGHT CABIN
It is Summer Time and it is beautiful. So, we decided to go to the mountain at Mentone, Alabama. We found a little cabin called “Sweetheart’s Delight”. It was a delightful cabin. We ate in Fort Payne before going to the cabin. We went to the Wal-Mart and we brought snacks to eat later that evening. We did not have any problems finding the cabin. There were several other cabins surrounding Sweetheart's Delight. All of the cabins were occupied. It was surprisingly quiet. Did not hear any one. The next morning while we were having our coffee; we saw two families out . One of the families were out walking. Someone there was cooking breakfast and it sure did smell good! As for our evening, we first sat and talked out on the back patio while listening to the birds. Then, we decided to look around and took a walk a ways down the road. When we got back, I saw a big lizard. I believe it was as curious about me as I was It. Then, we played about 15 hands of Gin Rummy (of course he beat the socks off of me). My Hershey Big Block was exceptionally good for some reason. We, then, got in the hot tub which sure did make for a good nights sleep that night. The bed was very comfortable. The next morning we stopped at a Waffle House and watched about ten bikers ride in. I couldn't help but think they must have a great time, all together. I kind of think, though, they may have enjoyed “Sweetheart’s Delight” more. Next, we are going to go to Desota Falls and see what it looks like this time of the year.
