WE HAD A GREAT TIME EXPLORING
ALONG THE BEACH AT PENSACOLA.
ALSO, WE DROVE OUT PAST NAVARRE
BEACH AND INTO THE GRAND ISLE  NOW
THIS IS A BEACH...  MILES OF WHAT YOU
WOULD THINK A BEACH SHOULD LOOK
LIKE. FOR THE MOST PART, THE SAND
DUNES SEEMED UNTOUCHED;  THE SEA
OATS WERE NOT TRODDEN DOWN.  I DID
NOT SEE ONE SAND PIPER LAST YEAR
AT ORANGE BEACH NOR THIS YEAR.  TO
MY SURPRISE,  I SEEN A LOT OF SAND
PIPERS ALONG THESE BEACHES.
IT WAS SO GOOD TO SEE THEM.  I DID
NOT KNOW IF ALL THE PAST HURRICANES
HAD DESTROYED THEIR HABITAT.
PRAISE THE LORD,  THEY ARE ALL
AROUND HERE.  I COULD NOT HELP BUT
THINK ABOUT THE FUTURE OF OUR
BEACHES.   I DO NOT KNOW WHAT
THE OUT COME WILL BE  DUE TO THE
BP OIL EXPLOSION'S SPILL. THESE NEXT
TEN OR FIFTEEN YEARS WILL TELL A
TALE ABOUT THIS HORRIFIC DISASTER...
I FEAR.  THESE ARE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL
WHITE BEACHES HERE ON THE GULF
COAST.   MY MIND CAN NOT PHANTOM
WHAT THE DAMAGE DONE MIGHT BE TO
THE OCEAN'S CREATURES AND PLANT
LIFE,  ONLY THE LORD KNOWS AT THIS
POINT.   I LOVE THE BEACH AND ALL OF
IT'S AQUATIC LIFE AND I HOPE THE
DEVASTATION WILL BE MINIMAL.,
