Well, which is a deep subject. We had made
Reservations to go back to Lake Guntersville
State Park Resort for our Valentine Gifts to
each other but we knew snow was on it's way
and the roads would be closed down. So, we
cancelled our reservations. Thought about
going to Mentone and stay at Little Cupid On
the Brow Cabin, again, but we did not have
two nights to take. I found Over-Night cabins
at Mentone.
I found this beautiful little cabin.
We did not know they had them. We left out
the next Thursday. We ended up having the best
time. On the same road where the cabin is was
alot of rock formations. We always walk, if we can.
The sun was out, so off we went. Our jackets
kept us warm . We had brought things for a
Lobster Dinner that night so we had plenty of
time to explore. We went back and fixed dinner
after our walk. Hubby did a great job cooking
the Lobster ...so good, too! Of course, we had
dessert . It was the fudge I made hubby for
Valentines and the Valentines Chocolates he
bought for me ...Yummm! Next we played quite
a few hands of Gin Rummy...YES!!!! I did get
beat, again, but not too bad... only by 3 hands.
Then, out to the hot tub. It was about 26 degrees
but the water was so warm...the sky was absolutely
clear and beautiful. The moon was almost full and
the stars were shinning so brightly. We, also,
heard the train. Watched three movies I brought
with us. The fire in the fireplace was so pretty.
Again, what a great time we had! Thank you, Father
for such a wonderful refreshing Valentine gift you
gave to us !!!!!
