We got up slowly, walked over to the store that sells touristy stuff and acts as a coffee shop / deli as well (food is good).  We decided to drive around Vermont a bit, we wanted to go to Burlington, and the Vermont Teddy Bear factory.

The drive was quick and lots of signs made the place easy to find.  We parked and walked inside, it was teddy bear heaven.  Bears of every size, shape and colors welcomed us, from a teddy bear bush, to a huge teddy bear doll.

Our daughter had a blast until we started the actual tour, and the crowd made a loud "Hooray", that freaked her out, but all was OK.  The tour guide made sure to signal us when there is another "Hooray" coming, and another tragedy was avoided.  The tour was interesting and ended, how else, at the gift shop.  We bought a bear for the bear collection and went to lunch and back to Long Hero for a nap.

One we got up we continued exploring North & South Hero islands.  We just drove around, stopped at a jewelry shop and ate dinner at the Blue Paddle Bistro on South Hero which has a patio and food was good.

By this time is was almost 20:00 and we hurried to our room before the state closes.
