It's the weekend, and it’s raining and the kids are going running amuck around the house. We are desperately trying to find something to do which a) wil be inside and b) will not break the bank and eat too much into our Disney savings.

After scouring the Internet for half and hour or so we decided to go to Casa Picasso in Ocean Grove.  The premise is that you buy ready made pottery, paint it and pay only for the pottery and a flat rate studio fee.

Sounds great and we hope the kids will love it.

Once we got to the store (our GPS sent us to the wrong place) it was raining like crazy so we drove around Ocean Gove’s for a bit taking in the sights and made a note that we must return here one day when the weather is nicer.

Once we went into Casa Picasso we saw the place was full, I guess everyone were thinking like we did, however we were given our own table quickly, picked up some potter for the kids and went to choose which paints to get.

Basically each child got a plastic pallet and then went to the back of the room to pick some colors (you get a bit but can refill with any color or get new ones at anytime).  If you want some stencils just ask, we got a cat and a locomotive.

The kids had a great time, they painted, made a total mass and were kept busy.  Now we only have to come back next week to pick up the "artwork".

Casa Picasso also have a seperate party room.
