We took our children to see "Thomas the Tank" show. The NJ State Theatre is conveniently located around a very nice area in New Brunswick, with easy parking access on the street or in parking lots which are easy walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants and eateries in the area, from the very high end like "Stage Left" to the other side of the spectrum (Subway).

The theatre is beautiful with stadium sitting on the inside and very kids friendly. Unfortunately we didn't take any pictures, maybe next time.
