Last night we thought to ourselves "selves, why don't you leave on Sunday early afternoon, spend a few hours in Washington D.C., sleep at Mt. Vernon and have a leisurely visit at George Washington's home?"

Really, why not?
Cheri has never been to Washington D.C., and that way we won't be in a rush.

We do have a birthday party on Sunday (it's for a three year old so we can't miss it), but can leave right when it's over.

Changing a reservation with Best Western seemed impossible to their operators, so we just made another reservation for the night before, I think they need to rework their software or retrain their operators.
