Karla Baca Flores, grupo Mana was funded through Kiva's partner ADIM, a microfinance institution in Nicaragua. Approximately 83% of ADIM's clients are female and 40% of ADIM's clients are solely responsible for income generation in their family. The average loan size is USD $140,

this is one of the smallest loan size averages in Latin America. By giving smaller loans with shorter cycles ADIM is able to reach more clients in need.
