We drove into Hua Hin town about 7 pm, parked near the main temple and then walked down to the Fishing Pier area which is full of restaurants, small shops. The sois are not traffic free but for the most part they almost are, so you can walk around easily. We had great already had seafood so did not want the same again, so we went for a meal at Monsoon Restaurant, this is almost Vietnamese in style and they had some really nice fusian Asian dishes. Service was good and friendly. There is a very good choice of restaurants in Hua Hin. We walked up to the area round the Hua Hin Hilton as there is a good place to buy Mango and Sticky Rice along the street.
After our meal we walk to the Hua Hin night market and bought a few things. We then walked back down near the Hilton to see the small show near there, good fun and quite cheap. About 11 pm we headed back towards Hua Don Beach at Khao Takiab and went to the Sasi Bar near the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin for late drinks and some music. The band was good and we eventualy got back to our bungalow about 11.30 pm. We sat in the garden for a while and chatted, it was quite cool but still warm. We thought about a beach walk but were too tired, so off to a good night sleep after a long day.
