We decided as we were not going to hack to Austin in one day we would take a meandering route through the Louisiana countryside, and stop by Avery Island, home to the McIlhenny family and the origin of Tobasco sauce. Hot. We checked out the Tobasco country store, trying various sauces and purchasing some mindless crap, including a toy KITTY! Impala away!
