The excitement is bubbling over as we sit at gate A 19 waiting to board our flight on Iceland Air to Reykjavik. Check-in went very smoothly, and the airline staff was super nice. The students are laughing and smiling, and it is clear that everyone is filled with joyous anticipation.
Tomorrow (actually in about six short hours) we will have reached the first stop on our journey. Will we be able to stay awake long enough to experience a 12:02 A.M. sunset while we are there? Will anyone be brave enough to sample some authentic Icelandic cuisine? Stay tuned to find out.
