Today, well what can I say about today? Not really sure in all honesty...about a month and a half later I am trying to catch up on my travel log...I cant really remember much about the 4th, not because my memory is so poor, its just because it is ages ago and we woke up drunk and decided the best thing we could do is to continue on with our drunk. Went into the city centre and headed straight to a bar, have no fear, the sun was well above the yardarm, it was well past 1000 before we enjoyed our first of German beer (ok, well first sip of the day). Proceeded to piss off every patron of the bar when we got into a beer coaster fight, left the bar with a happy drunk on, 200 coasters scattered around our table and about 15 Germans really disliking Americans (heehee...if they can pretend that they are Canadian, I think that I can pretend that I am American). The day was a long day on the bus, filled with beer inspired karaoke and beautiful sights that are most remarkably like Western Canada.

Our day finished with the arrival into the picturesque town of Hopfgarten, Austria. Had a cross dressing party during the night...I participated for an hour or so, then quickly got acquainted with my bed.

After a refreshing twelve hour slumber, woke at 9 (sober) with a lovely outlook on the day ahead. Kristine (a girl from Texas) and I decided to have a hot date out enjoying the countryside.

Went strolling about town, then into a beautiful forest, alongside a babbling brook (don't ask me what it was babbling about, I think it was about the weather, perhaps the Blue Jays, I dint pay attention, seeing as it just kept babbling on and on). We made acquaintance with two very friendly kitties and I learned, for the first time, that people can be afraid, petrified of kittens (Kristine, have you not seen the Cotonelle commercials?)! We enjoyed feeding the fish and met some locals, who insisted on buying us shot us schlager to go along with our hot sausage lunch. Thanks for the hot date babe, had a great time!

The evening was pleasant enough; it was the annual Hopfgarten Village Festival. It consisted of wonderfully salty chicken, many pints, shots of schlager and lots of Umpa Umpa music followed none the less by Umpa Umpa dancing.
