. Thanks Em, Lisa and Carly, great memory.
After the glamorous sunrise, hit the sack for a few hours, woke up at 0900 for a FREE breakie (it was shit...cornflakes, stale cornflakes) and then back to bed till 1130. Got off the ferry and into Athens by 1215. Went exploring and discovering. Was planning on having an early night, so didn't head out with the crowds, instead went and got a few beers and gyros with Greg and strolled about the town for a bit. Decided to cut the stroll a bit early when we were walking through a square and one Greek guy warned us that it might not be that good of an idea to hang out for too long...I guess the locals were getting restless.
Spent all night on the ferry, didn't do much sleeping. Decided since I was at sea (wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!), I should make all my merchant sailor friends proud and get absolutely pissed ass drunk. I seceded. Haha. Great time, met a bunch of people and partied all night long. Woke my roomies up at 0600 to watch the sunrise. To my surprise they actually woke up with smiles on and joined me out on the boat deck (for all non sailors, I'm not calling the deck the boat deck because it is a deck on a boat, I'm calling that deck the boat deck because that is the deck that all the lifeboats are stowed upon, hence the name. And now class, that concludes our nautical studies for the day.) to watch the sunrise. Magnificent. Only one shit thing about it, I realized I totally miss sailing...haha...I want to go back to work. My roomies even further lucked out, they even got to witness a Mediterranean style mooring. They weren't as excited as I was (then again, I was trashed, they weren't), but they showed enthusiasm
