We woke up very early in Oregon and headed west.  This was our longest drive of the trip thus far. 10 hours.  Luckily the scenery was beautiful driving across Oregon, through Nevada and finally into Utah.  The salt flats near the great salt lake were wild and appeared out of no where.  The temperature increased significantly as well. 
We found a decent deal on a hotel room, again thanks to Bryce's sweet talking :)  We drove around the city for a bit and then ate at the highly recommended Red Iguana restaurant.  Dinner was great!  After dinner we just headed back to the room, watched a little tv and then rested up for the big tour of national parks in southern Utah.
